Prime Day is one of my favorite times to stock up on the beauty basics I actually use — and maybe sneak in a little upgrade here and there. With five boys in my house, I don’t have time for long routines, so I go for products that really deliver. Here’s how I’m breaking it down this year: Hair, Skin, Makeup, and Mom Life.
If my hair looks halfway decent, I feel like I’ve got it together. This year, I’m eyeing the Shark FlexStyle for those quick blowouts that look like you spent forever with a round brush (but didn’t). I’ve also seen deals on OGX Biotin & Collagen Shampoo and Conditioner. I’ve used these in the past when I wanted more volume without a ton of fuss.
And don’t forget the styling helpers: Kenra Volume Spray is a classic that actually keeps hair in place without that crunchy helmet feel, and IGK’s Good Behavior smoothing spray is basically like a keratin treatment in a can. These are the things that make a difference when I’ve got five minutes between soccer drop-off and dinner.
Skincare is where I try to be consistent. I’ve got a few favorites on my radar: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream for that easy hydration, CeraVe Moisturizing Cream for an all-over family-friendly option, and the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask (because let’s be honest, I don’t want dry lips in the school pick-up line). Nothing too fancy, just the basics that keep my skin from looking like I live off coffee and carpool runs.
If you want to go a little fancier, there are Prime Day discounts on Sunday Riley C.E.O. Glow and Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair; both of which make tired skin look a whole lot more awake. And I love that there are fun extras like 24K gold eye masks because sometimes it’s the little things that make you feel pulled together.
Makeup is where I keep it simple — but I love grabbing deals on the everyday things I reach for over and over. Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes are always in my drawer, and Prime Day is a great time to grab them in bulk.
For lips, I’m stocking up on Laneige Lip Glowy Balm and Burt’s Bees lip crayons (the colors are easy and forgiving when you don’t have time for a mirror). And for eyes, the L’Oréal Lumi Glotion adds that “I slept eight hours” glow, and Tarte’s Tartelette Mascara gives lashes the boost I need to look awake. Toss in a pack of Real Techniques sponges and a new Revlon tweezer, and you’re set without breaking the bank.
At the end of the day, I’m all about things that make life run smoother. Of course I love a beauty product that saves me time, but the real game changers are the little mom hacks that keep the chaos under control. Think lightweight soft coolers for snacks on the go, comfy shoes that last all day without sacrificing style, and car accessories that make traveling with a car full of kids just a little easier.
I have rounded up plenty of these finds in my Amazon storefront which includes everything from capsule wardrobe staples and workout gear to lunchboxes and travel helpers. Prime Day is the perfect chance to grab them while they are on sale, so make sure to check it out so you do not miss anything good.
So whether you are restocking your beauty bag, grabbing a few wardrobe staples, or picking up those little mom hacks that make life easier, Prime Day is the time to do it, and your future self will thank you.
