On August 1st, 2024, I was miserable.
I remember standing in front of the mirror trying on swimsuits and feeling completely defeated. I had zero energy, my periods were irregular, and I was exhausted all the time. Not the kind of tired that coffee fixes, but the deep, constant exhaustion that makes everything feel harder than it should.
I knew something had to change.
But I also knew myself well enough to know this. Whatever I did had to be a lifestyle. Not another quick fix I would quit after a few weeks. As a busy mom, I needed something realistic, sustainable, and simple enough to stick with even on the chaotic days.

I did not overhaul everything overnight. I started by prioritizing protein at every meal and snack. Instead of grabbing whatever was convenient, I focused on fueling my body better.
I kept high protein snacks in my bag so I would not end up starving and making last minute choices between errands or kid activities. It felt manageable, and honestly, it gave me my first sense of momentum.
At first, it worked. I lost about five pounds.
And then… I stalled.

That stall forced me to be honest with myself. As I inch closer to my 40s, my body is not the same as it was in my twenties. Hormones shift, metabolism slows, and I realized I needed extra support alongside the healthy habits I was already building.
That is when I found Yū Nutrition.
I added TrimFit purple tea into my daily routine because it felt simple and realistic to maintain. I noticed my cravings felt more manageable, my energy more steady, and for the first time in a while, I felt like my efforts were working with my body instead of against it.
Around the same time, I added Protect Probiotic to support gut health and overall balance, which became another easy step in my routine.
Over the next three months, I lost 24 pounds.
But honestly, the scale was not even the best part.
My cycle regulated. My clothes fit differently. I had real energy again. I felt stronger, more confident, and more present with my kids.
That shift naturally led me to start moving more. I committed to walking at least 30 minutes a day and added dumbbell workouts a few times a week. Nothing extreme, just sustainable movement that fit into my busy schedule.
As my energy improved, I slowly added more support from Yū Nutrition based on what my body needed next.
Control became a favorite because it helps keep me full longer and supports my body’s natural GLP 1 response. When I started strength training more consistently, I added Charge Pre Workout for clean energy and focus, Recharge Post Workout to support recovery, and Creatine to help maintain muscle and support cognitive health as I get older.
Each step felt natural, not overwhelming. I was not starting over again. I was building something sustainable.

This has never been about perfection. Some days look better than others, but for the first time this does not feel temporary.
It feels realistic for my life as a busy mom.
It feels sustainable.
And adding Yū into my routine did not replace the work I was already doing, it supported it in a way that finally helped everything click into place.
And I can honestly say I have never felt better.
